Primary Roles & Responsibilities
- Assemble and weld products as per drawings and specifications
- Conform to operator release program (criteria established with self-inspection)
- Maintain an appropriate level of workstation cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to company HR policies and Safety Policies
- Contribute to overall plant cleanliness and machinery maintenance
- Report all unsafe conditions and safety violations to production supervisor
- Report any non-conformances to production supervisor
- Maintains responsibility for all company issued tools and equipment
Job Competency Requirements
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints
- Ability to perform quality welds adhering to aesthetic guidelines (through internal training program)
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings and guidelines
- Ability to measure and determine quality of product
- Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
- Ability to perform “shop math” of conversion of fractions, decimals, circumference, metric
Required Education/Training
- St Johns First Aid Training (preferred)
- Internal training of welding machinery setup and changeover
- Internal training of reading of blueprints
Evaluation Process
- Annual Performance Review with Mark Kopsala by February
